Business Lease Romania is a member of the international group Business Lease, which provides a variety of services, from operating leases for company or private cars, to vehicle fleet and fuel management to renting and sharing of vehicles. The company operates in five EU countries and its key priority is to standardise and optimise its processes across the markets it operates in.
Challenges
The main challenge for Business Lease Romania was revising the existing IT system, which was not capable of effectively supporting the specific requirements of the local market. It was problematic to process operations in two currencies (EUR and LEI) and include exchange rates, which greatly affected the entire system. Another challenge was to meet legal requirements, such as implementing electronic invoicing in line with EU standards and meeting requirements to submit reports to financial authorities. In addition, the company needed to launch electronic invoicing and automate bank transactions. Finally, Business Lease needed to standardize its global business processes to ensure a uniform format for sending invoices across all countries where the company operates.
Implemented Solution
The solution for Business Lease Romania was Seyfor OneCore, built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform. This comprehensive software is designed to manage financial services, including finance and operating leases, loan management, car rentals, fuel cards, and more.
The Course of the Collaboration
The implementation was completed in record time – approximately 2.5 months, even though the standard time required for similar rollouts is around 4 months. Thanks to in-person meetings with key users in Romania, which, among other things, contributed to building good relationships. All the details were sorted out quickly, which helped minimize misunderstandings.
