In 2018, with Seyfor's support, Leasing Slovenskej sporiteľne successfully implemented the on-premises Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 system along with the OneCore solution. As their business grew and services expanded, it was time for the next step in digital transformation: transitioning to the cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, which offers a modern environment and numerous innovative features.

Implementation Story

In this project, Leasing Slovenskej sporiteľne transitioned from the established on-premises Microsoft NAV 2017 solution to the cloud-based Dynamics 365 Business Central and OneCore. This step represents more than just a technological change. The company is moving towards the digitalization and centralization of internal processes, which brings significant benefits to clients as well.

The project, with a clear goal, lasted one year, with the final phase - Go Live, being completed according to the established plan and schedule. The teams on both sides played a key role in the success of the project. Having already had one successful collaboration, they once again demonstrated cooperation and mutual support, which was evident even in more challenging situations and approaching deadlines.

Every team member, from Seyfor and Leasing Slovenskej sporiteľne, brought something unique to the project - from invaluable analytical skills to creative ideas and extensive technical experience from past projects.

Despite this, the project faced challenges that were successfully resolved thanks to the professional approach of both parties. In the initial phase, access rights were set to maintain the security standards of both organizations. Security was a priority throughout the project, leading to the implementation of new protocols ensuring data security during system exchanges, with an emphasis on encryption and authentication.

Technical issues arose during the migration of backups from the local environment to the cloud due to the large volume of transferred data. These were resolved using specialized data migration tools and optimizing transfer processes.

During the implementation, several versions were created, requiring analyses of differences in the data model and adjustments. The process was managed using agile methodologies and regular meetings, ensuring effective handling of arising changes.
